Hideki Tsutsumi is a Japanese music producer, composer and educator based in Fukuoka.
Currently, he works as a music educator at A-HEAD RECORDS, and also plays Japanese traditional music.
Collaborating with visual artists and working on video and music productions
He is also active as a composer and artist. In recent years, he has been working on his educational project "LOVE LAB MUSIC," where he is devoting himself to educating and training Japanese children to be able to create world-class music.
Professional Background
Tsutsumi's career began in 1991 as a composer and arranger for Kahoru Kohiruimaki's album "Silent."
It all started with his debut as a member of the group. With the release of Zeppet Store's "Cue" in 1997, he began to take his career as a music producer seriously.
From 1996 to 2000, he was the producer of "Heart Music" led by Masanori Sasaji, and then from 2001 he was the producer of Victor Music Arts for about 20 years.
Tsutsumi has worked as a producer for a wide range of music genres.

Educational Activities
Tsutsumi began his educational activities in 2007 by teaching orchestration classes at the TSM Shibuya school. He currently offers music production lessons for intermediate to advanced students using Ableton Live 11 at the "FUKUOKA Future Music Academy" within A-HEAD RECORDS . He also conducts private lessons online (Zoom) for a wide range of ages, from children to adults. The lesson content is wide-ranging, including performance content production using Push 2, composing using Live's scale function, music theory, sound design, and more, with each student receiving individual instruction.

Recent Initiatives
Tsutsumi hopes that through LOVE LAB MUSIC and other organisations, Japanese children will be able to use Ableton Live.
